Many people are condemning the govt for increasing the petrol price. For me i have other view. The question i have is that GOVT NOT DOING ENOUGH OR CIVILIAN ASKING TOO MUCH? Yes i know it's our right to ask from govt. But are we asking too much?
I have my primary and secondary education supported by the govt. I went to University with a loan from the govt and i'm thankful for that. I guess many of us also received the same thing. What else can we ask for?
Maybe i already have the things i want with my own brain and brawn. We can't expect the govt to put food on our table. So for those who's complaining what do you'll want?
Many economy analyst says that increasing the petrol price is the right move to safeguard the govt reserve. Maybe right in term of economy but not in the eyes of the people. Many also compare fuel price from OPEC country with Malaysia. Why? Malaysia is not in OPEC. Why not compare it with Indonesia and Brunei. They are also oil producing country.
OPEC members produce large sum of fuel. But Malaysia, Brunei and Indonesia (OPEC Member) not as much. For those complaining try giving suggestion instead. How u can manage it better and not just complaint. What good does it make? it's not helping the country but instead show instability in the country. Why not instead have a dialogue with the govt on how to overcome this global issue.
All we heard from the opposition is complaint on how people will suffer from it. True many will be affected by the petrol price increase. I'm also affected. But think wisely, if we keep on supporting what we're unable to support we will fall. Instead increasing standard of living of the people can help them sustain the petrol increase.
Thai and Indonesia no toll....try see how their people life and how Malaysian excel. It's where the country put their priorities. People or Development for the people. Its how u prefer your lifestlye. Simple Kampung life with not much worries or Urban develop community who always strive to improve themselves.
KIWI-Knowledge In World Issues, as what i mentioned to my salesrep today and what i've learn from AIESEC is very important. We have to understand what is going on with the world and our surrounding before we judge something.
It's up to you to judge.
