stress....

taking 3 days off to attend my gf brother wedding. But then there is so many thing that i need to finish. Roadshow is on the 2nd July and many thing have yet to be finalize. looking at my calender and the whole month was packed with meeting.

Is meeting more important or execution? for me when we finish meeting we must have a outcome and action to execute it. But now seems like i have time for meeting and not time for execution. Really feeling the stress working at KL.

Financially also feeling the pinch. Expenses more then my pay.

Will update more on the roadshow.....whole July packed.....

Sarawak Working trip

Just came back from Miri and Sibu, Sarawak. It was great to have been in the biggest state in Malaysia. The trip there is for MAGGI MIDI launch at Sarawak. It's similiar with the Penang one. The launch is at Sibu but we went to Miri first for market work. Miri is somehwhere near to Brunei and the market is growing very fast. It was great to see the visibility at Miri and the dealer had done a very good job there.

Then we travel to Sibu the next day for the launch. Stayed at a hotel near the Rajang River which is the longest river in Malaysia. The launch was great as we had alot of lerning from the Penang launch. The business review earlier also generate lots of idea to grow the MAGGI product there.

We had a flight delay on our flight back to KL and it was fun although tiring spending time waiting for our delayed flight. Had nice chat with the team members.

On the flight back to KL i was seated near the window. Looking out the window at night flight was great. looking up you can see stars shining and looking down you can also see light from highway and houses. It's like you are in the middle of two world. We can always imagine how it would be like looking at the stars above but have never imagine that we could be stars to other also if you are looking from above. Overall it ws a great trip getting to know the business more.

Support Local Music

Am always in support of local music. From Karen Kong to ZeroOrigin. Today would like to recommend a new artist which i feel is cool. Got to know about this rapper at meeting. He's our new ambassador for one of our products. Lots have been discussed about this rapper and i think that his song is cool. The rapper i'm talking about is non other then Caprice. Analysis

Analysis......we have lots of that in today's meeting. We analyze the Input and Thruput trend. It seems like good news for us when we can show a higher input variance compared to the thruput variance. What does this mean? high input to customer and customer are unable to sell as much stock as we put in??? Is the market slowing down? But in Neilsen report shows that market share is increasing. How do we actually make use of all this data?

By showing the chart we know what has happen and what is the current trend. Am happy to be part of the team to see the trend and how to make full use of the trend. If thing goes well what did we do right and if thing goes wrong how to prevent it from happening again. Its the same with our life. We must from time to time ask ourself are we happy?. if not what is the thing that makes us not happy? how to prevent it from happening again. If we are happy, when can we repeat it again. How many people really do learn from their mistake? How many people are able to repeat the same thing they do that makes them happy and feel the same way? Guess not.

Maybe we should take sometime to analyse our life. What makes us happy and what will make us upset? It will be different from time to time. Same goes to the chart and trend that we analyse. The analysis can only help us in making desicion and not determind your desicion. It will show you what may or might happen and does not mean that it will happen. We need to cultivate new ideas in our plan to make it more realistic at that point of time.
