1st Day of Chinese 'Niu' Year

Today is the first day of the OX year. As usual lots of television program that talk about the zodiac sign. As for me the rooster, according to the TV it'll be a great year for finances and love. That's the 2 things that i need the most as i need the money to plan for my wedding.

Beside tht i find something different in the TV this year where they talk about the culture and also practices during CNY. Many things that they talk about is not practice by my family. For example 1st and 2nd day you must not wash your clothes as it will offend the God of Water. Sweeping the floor i know but washing clothes? another thing is that you cannot have your afternoon sleep and also parents must not wake their children up in the morning. Sleeping in the afternoon on the 1st and 2nd day of CNY will mean that you will become lazy.

On the first day of CNY you must open the front door and also your window and breath in. It's believe that you'll capture the water....which means luck. It's something which i feel must be practice to ensure that we capture the feng shui. I'm kind of a non believer in Feng Shui at first but now i believe that we need the chi in order to be successful. That is how the rich people stay rich. But in feng shui you must also be very careful of your surrounding as it might break your feng shui.

Will be moving to the new office soon and will have to study some feng shui in order to do better in my job. Stay at home whole day today as i do not want to visit my relative house this year coz it will be the same story of why still dun want to get married. Will do the same when i go back to KL tomorrow. Looking forward for some gambling though as i feel it's time for the whole family to sit down together and have a game of cards. Not that i like gambling but i like the atmosphere where the whole family is together.

TO ALL MY FRIENDS, HAPPY CHINESE 'NIU' YEAR.
May you have peace in your Heart,
Health in your Body,
Wealth in your Life,
and Joy in your Home.
